This Week at Churchill Estates

EVERY WEEK WE PRESENT A RUN DOWN OF HIGHLIGHTS OF WHAT WILL BE GOING ON AT CHURCHILL ESTATES RETIREMENT COMMUNITY, WE ALSO TAKE  LOOK AT WHATS GOING ON AROUND EUGENE, SPRINGFIELD, AND INTERESTING THINGS HAPPENING IN LANE COUNTY OREGON.

A peek at the weather shows us to expect some intermittent rain this week. Today possible showers, temps around 50 degrees. Tomorrow partly sunny.and a daytime high around 52. Rain returns Wednesday, clears up Thursday, and we should expect a soggy weekend.

In sports, the Oregon Ducks dumpster fire of a football season is finally over with and as painful as each loss was, nothing compares to getting beaten by the Beavers 24-34. With the future of the Coaching staff in question, I'm sure we'll get some answers this week. In terms of hoops, the Men's basketball teams looks to develop chemistry with a series of home games starting tonight against Boise State. Congratulations to the Women's basketball team! Not only did they blow out San Jose State 92-62 last night but freshman Sebrina Ionescu recorded the first triple double in Oregon Woman's Basketball history in the game. GO DUCKS!

Here at Churchill Estates, We look forward to taking our Wii Bowling team to Crescent Park today to teach their team how to win gracefully. Tomorrow features Bingo and Bible Study. Wednesday we'll take a shopping trip to Walmart and get our first listen to live Christmas Carols as we host Kathi Kali. Thursday we expect our furry friends to visit with Pet Visits in our lobbies. Friday  we are excited to go on an evening trip to the Eugene Community Creche Exhibit where over a thousand Nativity scenes will be on display.

Sounds like another fun filled week! Come Join us if you like.
