After a warm but wet weekend we brace ourselves for the return of freezing conditions and a chance of snow on the Willamette Valley floor later this week. Sunny skies today and a high of 45 degrees. Tonight, temps dip below freezing at 31. Tomorrow High temps only get to 37 and overnight down to 33. Wednesday and Thursday we expect moisture in the system highs below 40 and lows around freezing which may result in some snowfall. Friday partly sunny and lows at a bone-chilling 26.

In sports, the Oregon Duck sports community is elated to finally have a new head football coach. Willie Taggart formerly the mastermind behind the rebuild of two programs in Western Kentucky and most recently the University of Southern Florida joins Oregon and made his first public appearance at the Men's Basketball game where the Ducks beat Alabama 65-56 and Coach Taggart greeted fans and took selfies.

This week around here, we look forward to dinner out tonight at Golden Orient. Chambers hearing will be here Tuesday in the Independent Living lobby. Wednesday we'll load the bus and go shopping at Albertsons and BiMart. Thursday the Choir from O'Hara Catholic School stops by for some Holiday favorites. Friday, one of our favorite musicians Gordon plays his guitar for our residents in the Assisted Living South lobby.

We hope you consider joining us for the festivities!
