This Week at Churchill Estates

EVERY WEEK WE PRESENT A RUN DOWN OF HIGHLIGHTS OF WHAT WILL BE GOING ON AT CHURCHILL ESTATES RETIREMENT COMMUNITY, WE ALSO TAKE  LOOK AT WHATS GOING ON AROUND EUGENE, SPRINGFIELD, AND INTERESTING THINGS HAPPENING IN LANE COUNTY OREGON.

A peek at the weather shows us to expect things to get cold! Chilly today with highs around 42 with rain tonight. Tomorrow, more rain and possible freezing temps in the evening and maybe a dusting of snow for Wednesday morning. Thursday through the weekend, cold rainy weather with highs in the 40's.

In sports, the search to replace Mark Helfrich continues as the Oregon Ducks still have not named a new head football coach. As each day passes, Oregon burns through more and more valuable recruiting time. We hope to hear an announcement soon.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Churchill Estates! Holiday decorations are popping up and festivities have started! Today we'll take a ride to Kohl's to do some holiday shopping, Tuesday morning we'll have Confession and Mass at Ten o'clock  in the Independent Living Multi-Purpose Room. Wednesday morning we'll load our bus for a trip to the Willamalane Holiday Market. Thursday we'll celebrate the Sagittarius Birthdays with Wade Barnett. (I can't imagine he wouldn't do a few Holiday numbers.)  Friday morning, we travel to Willamette Christian Center to enjoy their Christmas Program.

We are certainly getting into the holiday spirit. As always, you're welcome to join us and enjoy a bottomless cup of Hot Chocolate!
