THIS WEEK AT CHURCHILL ESTATES

EACH WEEK WE WILL PRESENT A RUN DOWN OF HIGHLIGHTS OF WHAT WILL BE GOING ON AT CHURCHILL ESTATES RETIREMENT COMMUNITY IN THE COMING WEEK. THIS WEEK THE EXCITEMENT BUILDS FOR FOOTBALL SEASON!

The weather is forecast appears to be MUCH COOLER this week, with high temps in the 70's and possible rain this Wednesday. Game Day Saturday should be perfect! Partly Sunny with warm 77 degree temperature. If you're heading to Autzen Stadium, wear sunscreen and remember to hydrate!

In Sports, the Eugene Emeralds continue a historic season and are closing in on a sweep of both halves of the season for the first time in several decades. With several home games this week, there is still time to catch the Em's in action before the playoffs start. Go Em's!

ALSO, as mentioned above the 2016 Oregon Duck Football Season Kicks off Saturday at home verses U.C. Davis and we couldn't be more excited! GO DUCKS!

Around these parts we'll try to keep busy until the Duck game to help pass the time. Today, we'll thrift shop at Goodwill and enjoy a movie in our Assisted Living T.V. Lounge. Tomorrow Avon Calls, Simple Harmonies performs, and we'll have Bible Study at 2:00 pm in the Independent Living Multi-Purpose Room. Wednesday has Yoga on the calendar and a shopping trip to Grocery Outlet. Thursday has Pet Visits in the Lobby and Beavers Football at Minnesota. Then Friday we'll take a trip to the Eugene Library and cap the evening off with Poker. All leading up to the Ducks (and Beavers) season openers!

Hooray for Football Season!
