Each week we will present a run down of highlights of what will be going on at Churchill Estates Retirement Community in the coming week. It’s the last week of February, and wow did it fly bye. We've had so many fun things going on at Churchill Estates this month, and this week will be no different!
We have a busy week scheduled leading up to our Senior Prom on Friday. Today we are going shopping at St. Vincent De Paul’s to see what treasures we can find. For some of our residents it’s almost like a contest to see how many cool things they can find and of course spend less money on those things. Tonight we are headed to El Torito, one of our favorite places to visit we are feeling like some guacamole! Our residents are excited for a little dinner out and it’s a beautiful day to be outside!
Tuesday we will have clothing connection starting at 10:30 AM, its fun for our residents to see people from the community bring their clothes from their boutiques. Come see what all they bring!
Wednesday we are going to Walmart for our weekly shopping trip, time to get groceries, clothes and whatever else our residents need.
Friday is our annual Senior Prom, put on by seniors from Winston Churchill High School, which is across the street. The students do just about everything, they set up our dinning room, make sure the snacks are ready. They bring the jazz band and get out on the dance floor with our residents. It is truly one of the most amazing things to watch. Feel free to come and watch, you are sure to leave feeling happy. If you haven’t seen the video that the Register Guard made last year, it’s posted below!
