To honor all men and women who have served in our U.S. Military today we celebrate one of our very favorite national holidays, Veterans Day.
Originally known as Armistice Day and Remembrance Day, to celebrate the 11th hour, of the 11th day, in the 11th month of 1918 when World War I ended in Armistice with Germany. In 1954 it was renamed Veterans Day.
At Churchill Estates we are immensely proud to be the home for many people who served in our armed forces and for their spouses.
We thank you if you served at the time of war or at a time of peace.
We thank you if you served over-seas or right at home.
We thank you if you served for a long career or just for a short time.
We thank you.
“As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.” —John F. Kennedy
