Every Autumn in Eugene Oregon, the Walk to End Alzheimer's Disease begins East of Ferry Street Bridge in Alton Baker Park and the paved path loops about 3 miles along the banks of the beautiful Willamette River, passed Valley River Center, across the foot bridge to Maurie Jacobs Park, back toward the Owen Rose Garden, and through Skinner Butte Park, over the foot bridge near Coburg Road where it returns to Alton Baker Park. Hundreds of people walk the five kilometer journey all for the same purpose, that through action, we may live in a world without Alzheimer's Disease.
