This Week at Churchill Estates

Each week we present a run down of highlights of what will be going on at Churchill Estates Retirement Community in the coming week. After a couple days of great weather, rain and cooler temps are on the way with the warmth and sunshine returning in time for the weekend.

In Sports, The Oregon Ducks Football Team played the annual Spring Game this weekend capping off spring practice with Team Mighty Oregon edging out Team Webfoot 21-20. It was especially delightful to see the return of Tight End Pharaoh Brown who was out with after a gruesome injury that almost saw his leg get partially amputated. Thankfully it wasn't and after a long rehabilitation process Brown was back on the field Saturday. He was limited to just three catches but gained 43 yards. Go Pharaoh!

This week is a very special week for us. The action starts with a shopping trip to the dollar Store and tonight at Churchill Estates, we are proud to present a free live concert by the Blues Skies Big Band and the Fabulous Jewel Tones at 6:30pm. This Free Concert is open to the public and we expect it to be an amazingly fun evening!

Tuesday is a busy day for us that features Coffee Klatch in the morning, bible Study and Nickel Bingo in the afternoon, Dogs Gone Wild stops by around dinner time, and Poker and Pinochle in the evening. Wednesday we'll take a tip to Safeway and Rite Aid. Thursday we'll take communion and have Pet Visits in the Lobby provided by F.E.T.C.H. and on Friday we'll take a morning trip to the downtown Library and in the afternoon we'll have our Mother's Day Tea.

As you can see, we'll be busy having a lot of fun this week. Please feel free to stop by and join us.
